By accessing or using Spyglass ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Spyglass provides competitive intelligence reports and monitoring for SaaS businesses. We analyze publicly available information about competitor websites and deliver insights, analyses, and recommendations. The Service is provided "as is" — we do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of our analysis.
Spyglass collects competitive intelligence data by analyzing publicly accessible web pages of competitor websites. Our automated systems follow robots.txt directives, implement rate limiting, and identify themselves transparently via User-Agent headers. We only access publicly available pages and never bypass authentication, paywalls, or login walls. If you are a website owner and wish to opt out of our analysis, contact legal@spyglassci.com and we will block your domain within 24 hours.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You may not share your account with others (unless on a team plan with designated seats).
Snapshot reports are one-time purchases. Tracker and Command subscriptions are billed monthly in advance. All payments are processed through Stripe. We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee on Snapshot reports. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time — no refunds for partial months.
You agree not to: use Spyglass for illegal purposes or to violate any laws, resell or redistribute our reports without permission, attempt to reverse engineer our analysis methodology, or use automated means to scrape our service or generate excessive requests. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
The reports, analyses, and insights we generate are your property — you may use them internally for your business. However, you may not resell, redistribute, or publish our reports publicly. The Spyglass brand, website, methodology, and underlying technology remain our intellectual property.
Spyglass shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We do not guarantee that our analysis will result in specific business outcomes.
You may terminate your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, you retain access to all previously generated reports and data.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
For questions about these terms, contact us at legal@spyglassci.com.
Spyglass processes data in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR and CCPA. Users retain all rights to their data as described in our Privacy Policy. Spyglass collects competitor data solely from publicly available sources and does not access or store personal data except as incidental to the analysis of public business information. Website operators who wish to opt out of our data collection may contact legal@spyglassci.com for prompt removal.
